Activities completing before the 'official stop point'

The MSTS Activity Editor allows you to make your own activities, or missions, for the player to complete. This is also how you can get lots of other trains running while you drive yours!

Activities completing before the 'official stop point'

Post by jetgriff »

My activities have started to 'activity completed' about 95% of the way through the journey, ok at through stations because I can just end the activity one station further on.. but terminus stations, now thats annoying to never to see your destination.
any ideas?

Your path must pass through the whole station, if you put the end point between the blue markers the station normally doesn't count as a stop.

It can be difficult with a terminus, sometimes the route creator doesn't leave enough room at the end - but zoom in and drag the end as far as you can and you should be OK.

Also, if you want to end the activity NOT at a station, open the Action Events window and delete the default event. You can then create an end point anywhere on your path with a Location Event.

Have a good read through this forum, there's loads of gems burried. :)

Thanks for the info asalmon I owe you one  ... I suppose its all to easy just to ask for the right answers to our questions, I can usually find the answer in the help sections but find they are not to clear and the index does not match words I'm looking for, sending me off at tangents, I do find other interesting things to learn about and can be away on different paths for hours when I really was looking for a quick remedy so that I could enjoy my fruits sooner... what it all boils down to is that following your hints I quickly found the answer cheers..
(just to go off on another path being an ex British Railways steam loco stoker I find MSTS very acurate, I could get onto the Flying Scotsman and get away no trouble just following my memories, all new to me yet but enjoying every minute)
