Class 202 Hastings Diesel Beta Testers wanted

Well, exactly what it says on the tin! PaulH2 has met me knwo that the class 202 Hastings DEMU units should be ready for beta test around the end of September, and I have agreed to organise a panel of around 6 beta testers.

If you're interested, reply to this post and let me know your spec, so we can get a series of machines running.

Just for the sake of completeness (and I guess you could say I'm a beta tester by default) my specs are:

Pentium 4 3GHz
ATi Radeon 9700 PRO 128MB
2GB RAM

Runs fine on my system as is, but it is probably fair to say it is not an average PC so not really a fair test, which is why we'd like to test the model on a few hardware configurtions.

Not to sure how well its going to run for you there Neil. Version 1 won't have LOD models I'm afraid (certainly not in the beta anyway). Be interesting to see how it performs on that spec...

Hmmm, is it just me or does there seem to be a very strong corrolation between Hastings DEMU fans and AMD processors...

Its all part of an alien conspiracy I tells ya!
