Yeah, uh, that's because my original front texture was ..

Nah it wasnt, and ive hardly changed anything but the livery. Mot of it is the original shape
Well, it's occured to me, but on my texture I didn't take into account the lighting box WITHIN the lighting recess, as shown by the black lines around your lighting cluster. If I did, it would have looked better.

I thought that was only a feature on the 165/6's I actually really like the way the 465's look in MSTS. I have only changed the front to match the pictures i have.

I havent seen pcis of the 465's

you could put Gatwick Airport on the front or Reading then the unit would look better placed on the L2B route.

I'd prefer to see Reading on the front.... Gatwick Airport has enough dedicated services and stock already!

Oh and I live in Reading which may make me biased.

Hi all

I must admit when you were making it at first and just using the 465 front I thought "man thats .!" but I retract that comment now i've seen that!

That really is looking like a 166/165 turbo now!

Just for the hell of it heres a pic of a REAL 165, I really can't tell the difference between it and the one at the top of this thread :)

All the best for this model!

Just uploaded the latest shot of the progress sofar.

Yet another front texture rebuild, although even now im not happy with the results. It is however 95% accurate to the real thing.

Several 3d elements in the making atm to be added to it. Gonna eba few very nice additions to the current model to get the right look. :)

Sorry to sound niggly but will the windows be more tinted? I know it sounds petty but the real thing has reflective ones you can hardly see through.
If not I'll do it myself for my personal use
