Where are the pictures?

Post by thames »

On Jul 16 coxy64 said on the next Sunday he was going to Wilton Middlesborough for Freightliner, and he would take some more pics.

So were are the pictures?

Or has he had his camera take away?

Wouldn't it have been nicer to have PM'ed Gary to ask, if you were so interested instead of coming over so rude with your post... That is precisely the sort of thing that makes Gary (and others) decide that its not worth the effort and then circulate the pics by e-mail to friends. Surely if Gary wants to post he will - comments about having his camera taken away will hardly have him rushing to put them on here... :-?

Sadly superdrug were unable to develop Gary's film last weekend!! But i suggest you remember people on these forums do have a life and do work for a living. Making comments that make his photography sound such that he is working incorrectly are bound to give him a good impression to actually bother releasing them.

I suggest you reword your above post- to somthing of a less criticall manor.

Sigh, another innocent post gone down the drain. It was fairly innocent question, why are you jumping on his back? Instead of lecturing, a simple "no" would have sufficied i think, or a "he's having problems, but they are on their way"

No, just making a point for a mate who is extremely fed up with this sort of nonsense and wonders why he bothers posting anything on the forums, given that it takes time and effort, and seems not to be appreciated.

Your excuse is?

THAT is not making a point for a mate. Granted your original post was, but the tone of it was clearly unnessacery. That was my point, it's not me that's throwing my toys out of the pram, I have better things to do than jump around after you or any other forum member.

As promised here are the pictures of York and Wilton.
Sorry for the delay and the small number posted but I do have to do some work aswell.
The Driver posing next to the Class 66 is my Minder Driver(Terry).
We thought it needed abit of Floral Decoration.

All the way back to Ipswich at 75MPH, but they were abit wilted by then.
We ran infront of a Steam Special that Day from York on the GNER Main Line.
The Lineside was amass with Rail Enthusiasts armed with Cameras who took photo's of the Floral Display, which I'm sure will perhaps find their way into various Rail Magazines.

LOL, your claim to fame? When was that? I was in York last week, didn;t see any flowery trains though :)

The steam specials run during the week to Scarborough apparantly, I would ahve gone, had it not been for time!

It was about 18.45 departure from York last Thursday.
We should have left 18:28 (booked time) but the RES Class 47 in the pictures on the Charter pinched our path.
