Chiltern Route
I live right by the chiltern line and have considered modelling (even if only a short stretch to west ruislip or somthing) the route but this would be far to big a task for me alone what with needing custom objects and such - if anyone is interested then let me kno

What an excellent suggestion for a route! I was just thinking about this route today.
Might be a long wait if you're waiting till MSTS 2 is released though, any time between December and April next year, or possibly even later than that. Bit of a long wait!
Chiltern Take Two by Video 125 would be very helpful for you, if you haven't allready got it.

Good idea!
Yo sounds like a good idea!
Don't wait til MSTS2 though - MS's website says about this fall, but that's bound to be the American date. so we'll get it in around May, June next year!!!

Hey -Yer i got that video and it would be a really good route to make - does anyone know where i can get realistic grass/shrubery for routes seen as those stupid JP1 bushes look . lol
You could use TGA tool to get the bitmap of the JP1bush and paste you're own textures on to it! Thats what I do with all the buildings and shrubbery, just edit the textures on the existing ones. It's really surprising how it can change the look of the route, plus, it takes less time than making it up in 3D.
