Class 86 / 87 Cabviews

Post by david1 »

Is anybody planning a cabview for the class 86`s and 87`s as I am bored with the Acela cabview for my electrics.

Thanks to everbody who has built all the traction for uktrain sim

Don't laugh, but you could do worse than install the MS1.2 Class 50 cab - it may not be accurate but it has the look & feel of a thirty-year old british outline cab! If you're not sure how to do this, post again.

Yes we need an 86 cab, I'm planning a few activities for Merseyside railways and I will be making lots of use of 86's for the player loco. Not sure about the 50 cab though.

Anybody got any good pictures of an 86 cab?

I mean detailed with outlines of controls with left and right shots? If so when i complete a few 'current' commitments i can knock together a 3D rendered one in a few weeks.

Tim may well be doing one, as he wants to replace all his electrics with updated models after SVR.

There you go then, take 12 or so pics of every movement of every handle and switches, ie train brake in intial then graduall movements round to emergency, reverser in forward neutral and reverse, power handle in off round to full, etc, then mail the pics to fodda and he'll do the biz!
