The tornadoes were non-existent the pattern shut down when we got there, we got tennis ball hail in Texas plus 110F temps in Arizona plus some decent lightning. Still I'm back over there next year for three weeks with a week thrown in for free a "loyalty bonus" ;o).

I've searched without success for cabviews for green class 37 and 40.

The only one I can find has full yellow ends.

I think this is because most of the locos were done with GP38 cabs before the accurate one was available.

A new one would be welcome.

I'd also like to see a Motherwell 37/3 with full blue livery but grey roof and big numbers.

The cabview for a Class 37/40 with full green bonnets is on the Mid East CD.

40058 before you get too far into more repaints have a look at this...

<IMG width="640" height="480" SRC="http://album.atomic-systems.com/showPic ... _40135.jpg">

I had my camera out at the Mid Hants Railway Trainspotters Ball IV, I still have a lot to do on it and progress is a bit slow due to the old rsi problem not clearing up.

Its essentially a complete retexturing, this time I wont be so lazy, each cabside and the nose ends will have different textures, still to do are the Bogies, Bufferbeam detail, Cant rail grilles, roof, cab side windows and doors and sort out the numbers should I use the low res photo or higher res fixed number panel which is less flexible.

If all goes well I will do a disc/non disc and center box variant.

its good to see someone else at it. The 37 675 i did was photo realistic and its easier i find to do these and end up with superb results!

Good to see you back

Hi Mark,

Just out of curiosity is this model still in production (RSI permitting) or now abandoned....

Cheers,

Hi

Its not dead yet, only my arms are, its been very frustrating i'd like to finish it off but I have to limit time at the PC for fear of making my RSI worse.

The body is mostly done, I have decided to cheat a bit on the rest, I have deleted all the buffer beam and bogie 3D structures so I dont have to retexture them all, all the depth impression is from the photos, its not perfect but acceptable I think...

I cant make any promises on a completion date though.
