CR ECC CDA branding

Post by Merlin75 »

I'm just wondering if anyone knows if there is a ECC branding patch for the steam version of creative rail's Cornish clay CDA's. I'm struggling to find a good version of this online to do it myself. thanks.

I have an ECC version within the .ap file for this.

They have called it ECC in the .AP file for the steam version but when I look at the texture files for the ECC CDA it's a made up name. But if you have the correct ECC branding I would be most grateful if you would send me the texture files for it please.

You are indeed correct - it is a fake. Sorry for raising hopes!

That's just the uncompressed version, I'm sure you can sort out the nmc from that.

That's odd - mine already has the branding - dated 21/08/2015?

Mine originally direct from CR so perhaps DTG/Steam version wasn't branded?

I have a "proper" texture file:-
CreativeRail_China_Clay_for_Export_101\Clay Wagons(2)\Assets\IHH\HAA\RailVehicles\Freight\CDA ECC\Default\Wagon\Textures\Hopper_nm.TgPcDx
which is in the original route from Creative dated 21/3/2012 in my case. I also have a zip file of 22/08/2015 which is called CreativeRail_China_Clay_for_Export_101_steamversion. I think Creative offered this to their customers when the route came out on Steam. It is much larger 284 against 155MB for the original. The Steam version clearly overwrote the correct livery with a fake one.

That explains it - for some reason I too purchased the Steam version, zipped my CR one up before Steam installed the DLC then overwrote the Steam version with the CR textures - I must have anticipated what would happen with the DTG/Steam DLC...
