When I try to edit a scenario I get the "Error: #399 Component Superpicture2.ocx or one of its dependencies etc" error.
Please note that I have run the set up program as an administrator and have deleted the program and reinstalled it (as administrator) twice now to the same effect. On both cases I got the following error after installation
"Runtime Error '399': Component MCCOMCTL.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"
In spite of the above the program seemed to open OK on a normal run command but I got the "Error: #399 Component Superpicture2.ocx........etc" when I tried to edit a scenario. If I try to run the program on the "Run as Adminitrator" command I get the "Runtime Error '399': Component MCCOMCTL.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"

Re: Problem with TS Tools
Tried that GPTech, when I try to open TS Tools now I still get the
"Runtime Error '399': Component MCCOMCTL.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"
message and when I click on OK the program terminates.
I appreciate your help, though.

Re: Problem with TS Tools
Right click the TS Tools icon and choose "Run as Administrator", see if that kicks it into life.
Where do you have TS Tools installed?

Re: Problem with TS Tools
There are a few reasons why you find that you get error messages re .ocx files in TS-Tools.
1. You have some utility on your system which will not allow you to install .ocx files for security reasons.
2. You have installed either TS2022 and/or TS-Tools in a restricted folder such as Program Files, or Program Files (x86)
3. You have not followed the instructions for installing TS-Tools as follows:-
a. Download the full version of TS-Tools from my web site www.agenetools.com, along with the upgrade to TS-Tools1072.zip
b. Unzip the full version into a temporary folder such as c:\Temp
c. Right click on the Setup file and select 'Run as administrator' from the pop-up menu
d. Select somewhere away from the folders mentioned in 2. above, e.g. somewhere like C:\Railways will do
e. Once this finishes, you will need to install the MWgraphics utilities by just clicking on the box which appears.
f. Now unzip the TS-Tools1072.zip and copy the TS-Tools.exe file into your new installation overwriting the file with the same name.
g. You should now go to the TS-Tools desktop icon, right click on it and go to Properties/Compatibility and tick the box always run program as administrator.
h. If TS-Tools does not run now, I am out of ideas.
