...which we've been able to do since the release of the 313/315 packs (possibly earlier, depending on how *exact* you want the TSO to be)....granted it'd involve a little bit of reskinning and possibly a change of couplings but nothing beyond the limits of the reskinners amongst us. Probably hasn't happened because there's been no clamour for it from the masses.

Just out of interest.. do either of the two base packs for this enhancement feature the early internal cab view?

How early? Both the required Thomson Interactive Class 455 and DTG Southern Class 455/8 have cabs that include a DRA which wasn't introduced until the late 90's but the units themselves were built between 1982 and 1985. The original cabs also had separate switches for the marker and head lights rather than the rotary switches both models feature.

Ta Andy, from that it seems a bit churlish for anybody to complain that AP haven't done a full job---it's an addon to existing models, not a brand new item of stock so obviously will inherit *features* from the base model.

AP included 2 brand new cab views for their 158 enhancement packs BUT I believe Rich said that it’ll be unlikely any EP packs will get the same treatment. Could they have perhaps used the 317 pack cab as a base? Who knows? The realms of 3D modelling is a bridge too far for me!

Cheers,

James

If the 317 cab suits, nothing to stop anybody experimenting by pointing a 455's .bin to the 317 cab .Geo

Vol 2 is out now with the SWT/SWR class 455/7/8/9 and the SN Class 455/8.
And it's quite good IMO! :) :)

Shame the comments from people on Facebook don’t say the same. Seems like a rush job sadly. People saying acceleration is to fast and shut off is wrong. Destination blinds not working.

Sadly not one for me wallet staying closed. I don’t really see any benefit to this pack over the soundpack I have for the class 455 already. If I want liveries they are freely available
