Just a quick update RE the JT products incase someone comes across the same issue. Despite copying over my JustTrains directory, they do in fact use some form of copy protection, the assets that had been a no show in-game appeared after running the installers again. From the JT website, you only had to activate the code and skip the installation steps but I followed every step in case I’ve missed an update to any addons.

In the past when I’ve used the traditional “copy over” method the JustTrains addons appeared with no issue at all so I’m wondering if it is a newer thing.

Peter, that was a great help, crossed referenced your post with Dad who confirmed the checks but he did something with the SSD’s which resolved the BSOD issue. I’ve made a note of your post for future reference in case I have to run the checks myself so thank you.

Cheers again to everyone for your help,

James

More an authorisation check than a proper copy protection thing, it's more likely that without the information being written to the registry (or even other system areas such as the AppData folders) your PC doesn't *know* that they're installed. As you've had to reinstall Windows this isn't really a surprise.

As Peter wrote..

In the past have you also had to reinstall Windows? If there was a true "copy protection" routine involved then it wouldn't work in every case.
