My NVCP seems to have disappeared.
I have icons on my task bar and start menu but when I click either, nothing happens. Also shows when I right click desk top with same result.
I've even been to the Microsoft site and downloaded it (or so I thought) but still no joy.
Any ideas, help, would be much appreciated.

Sounds like it's not installed correctly ?
You could try this https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/drivers/

Re: Nvidia Control Panel.
As Martin says
You need to dl a nVidia STANDARD driver, from the link above.
If you have let Windows 10 update the driver and you have also dl NVCP from the MS store it doesn't always work as it should.

Re: Nvidia Control Panel.
I have just taken receipt of a brand new CPU from Dell c/w the latest Nvidia GPU card. I use three monitors and so have had to configure for mutiple monitor set -up.For a couple of weeks no problem, but of late every time I boot up I''m having to configure and reposition the monitor layout and enable surround settings.
