Certainly not Geoff. I am so excited about this route it's a fantastic achievement.

I haven't yet had a chance to run your scenarios. I was just checking I had the relevant stock with TS_Tools.

I'm really looking forward to them though and will post back once I have.

Thanks for all your efforts.

Is anyone else getting shut down from insufficient memory just south of Reading?

Tried going there in the editor as well as running the Merehead Quarry scenario out of Reading, and same result between the Yeoman sidings and Reading - total freeze, then dumped. Absolutely no problems anywhere else - fantastic route BTW :)

Fully agree over the route - brilliant.

I don't have a shut down after Reading, but I do get an absolute stop to the sim for about 1 minute, it then stutters into life and after a few more stutters it eventually gets going again. I've sent an email to them, and they are looking into the problem.

Whilst I have downloaded the route I havent yet installed it. But in preparation for installing it, I installed SWE Electric route. And I am finding repeated freezes for up to 1 minute, between Reading West and half way to Newbury. The sim does catch up and carry on, but since I had my new (without giving specs) very high powered system I have not experienced complete freezes on ANY other of the many many routes I have installed.

Is this therefore a prob with the Electric version of the route that has manifested itself into BHP ? (I didnt have frame lock ups on the JT SWE to Reading route, or the original free SWE route. )

Cheers

Would that be where the two routes were merged together?

Why? the manual makes no mention of that route.

The two routes merge a few miles before you get to Pewsey.

No - between the Yeoman/Murco Terminal (near Theale) and the southwest approach to Reading. Managed to lock up in the editor heading towards Reading close to Theale and also leaving Reading in sim and the editor just past Reading West and close to Southcote Junction (near the Oxford Road portals).

How far away from the merge point is that Rod?

Can't count the tiles, but it is a very long way away - if it is merged at Pewsey that is a good 2/3 of the way from Reading to Westbury.

Thats what I thought..but when I watched the "Trainsim TV" review of the route, Thomas stated that "SWE Electric" was a required route ! And didnt he get involved in developing it ?

In any case Gary your comments are irrelevant in relation to the problem being discussed...as "August 1929" is experiencing the same problems in the same area that I am...and maybe he DOESNT have SWE Electric installed ?

The problem originally addressed is with freezing in WHBP, not SWE Electric, and if Rod doesn't have SWE Electric installed it can't be because of that route.

Rod, is the freeze on the RDC or SWE side of the merge point?

The problem originally addressed is with freezing in WHBP, not SWE Electric,

Yes I am well aware of that Gary. But what I said was that I am experiencing frame freezes in the same area of the SWE Electric route WITHOUT the BHBP route installed...as someone who DOES have the BHBP route installed ! So I am merely suggesting that the common denominator between us both is POSSIBLY we both have SWE Electric installed and are both experiencing problems in that area of the route. So it is possible that the BHBP route MAY not be the source of the problem ? It COULD be the SWE Electric route that is causing probs ? But what do I know ?
