The 86 had specific modifications in the design process to prevent the deafening 100-decibel roar that the 81 through 85's blowers produced. I've made some 85 blower sounds https://soundcloud.com/user-893731854/85-master/s-F9lAD .

The Class 85's cab was the most similar to the 86 so it can be aliased from the 86.

I had a WIP cab for my Class 83 (which probably is very unlikely to be going anywhere FTTB).

Does look nice! I think the thread title needs changing to “class 85 WIP“

Hello all - it’s been a while, and I’ve been thinking about the Class 85 above.

Theoretically speaking, how legal/easy would it be to alias most sounds, cabview/controls, and some physics to the AP Class 86? I’ve never created or scripted for TS.

I have my own transformer blower sounds for the 85, as well as the cab view. But I don’t have a cab view and don’t plan on making one with my current time-crunch.

If possible I would like to use all the physics of the 86 cab along with all the “gimmicks” included. AWS bells and whistles (horns?) will be custom sounds based on the era. I have exterior horn sounds as well based on era. I might alias the pantograph from AP as well.

For someone that doesn’t know anything about TS content creation how big of a task would this be?
