When you said the extension "wouldnt install" without uninstalling and reinstalling the Matlock Branch and the Sheff-Derby route first....by any chance did you mean that the route would "install", but none of the new scenarios for the extension route would work until you did the reinstall ?

Is that what you meant ?

Received an Email early on today from just trains.

The product VP01 - MML - Sheffield to Derby 2015 has just been updated

"VP01"? Does that prefix suggest Vulcan Productions is possibly involved in this?
(They were supposedly working with Just Trans on their Class 37 pack that seems to have been cancelled)

It's a scenario pack, nothing to do with the route as in some conjunction with JT.

You could say VP have been involved though, as the guys who've worked on this are/were members of the VP squad.

…..all the scenery disappears with the exception of track and a few fences without houses. signals that should be on gantry's are just up in the air and stations are missing, the scenery returns about 5.5 miles before Chesterfield.

Has anybody completed the 6M04 Humber International Coal Terminal to Ratcliffe Power Station scenario?

Completed the default one...changed the 47 to a 56, put some wagons in sidings near Beeston and some scrap locos from Industrial North in Simms yard and all ran OK.

Thanks for checking Chris; that was my finding too which I was happy to attribute to the amount of stock swapping I'd done. However, after looking at the more technical side of that, and other, scenarios I'm beginning to feel that the scenarios do fall somewhat short of "smashing it", at least not in the desirable definition of the term.

I`m think of buying the MML with both of the extensions but please could someone tell me if this has elevated track sections in the bends or is it like other JT routes thats completely lacks them?

Yep, it has superelevation.

Thanks for that, that's what happens when you don't look properly, mind you find it a bit strange they put a scenario in before the full scenery is in. Either that or its my age!!!!!!!!!

The scenario's is prefixed by [EVL], which suggests it's really for the Erewash Valley Line release. It possibly got missed when packaging, there's no doubt that the guys working on the route will have WIP versions of EVL installed.

It's really rather good; like any other route ever produced if you look hard enough you'll find something that niggles you but the overall look and feel of MML gives a positive experience.

Hi as anyone noticed that there is Free Roam from Toton Scenario Missing from the JT Midland Mainline Derby Nottingham Leicester extension According to the manual The included free roam scenarios should be as follows
Free Roam from Derby
Free Roam from Toton
Free Roam from Nottingham
Free Roam from Leicester

Reference my post regarding the 1R58 Scenario just had a fairly prompt reply from JT saying it was a scenario that was intended for the Erewash Valley add on, they wii be taking it out on the next update,
