Yes you need to uninstall and then re do from the start and in order. Imagine doing that 3 times a week for testing incl Derwent Valley!

Surely a bit early to be so euphoric; neither of you have fully explored the route yet.

Undoubtedly it's good, of a higher standard than we've previously seen, but cast a properly critical eye over it---you'll find plenty of niggles, even if the majority are only minor and can be overlooked. Let's not hype things up to be more than they are.

OK, I'll qualify my statement to reflect my initial findings after viewing two videos one biased and one critical before purchase. And noting JT's previous offerings;

From what I've experienced the MML by JT is a "major" improvement in quality, the track alone is far superior to JT's earlier examples, and in my opinion, one can't call JT "Just Trees" anymore, anyone who has had JT's offerings before and stated they wouldn't be buying their routes again until something drastic happened to them quality-wise can now purchase the MML lines with confidence, they've upped their game quite considerably with these offerings, sure there are a few things that may be off, like the over bright housing which is my opinion and may not reflect others views on it? A couple of jangles with the track in various places but not to the extent that came with the Chiltern line, one commentator thought that some of the embankments were standard Kuju fare, but I disagree with that if you remain in the cab it's not so obvious, performance is improved too, yes there are a few tile loading stutters, but there are a lot of custom assets in certain places to load in and I can forgive that for the immersion these assets bring.

So, my 2 pence worth, I can happily recommend these routes based on reviews and my own experience with JT routes in the past.

One thing I noticed on a run from Derby to Nottingham were a couple of stretches with grass on the track. Is that what it's like in real life?

Please refer to the manual as it recommends running with procedural flora turned off as the ballast shoulder on the new track is wide enough to mean overly intrusive ballast paint is no longer needed.

Hope this helps :)

Has the upgrade changed the track textures for the existing Sheffield - Derby part?

Yes, and for any other route using the same track type.

Too much risk of them falling down an old mine...

Worked a treat, thanks Thomas. It's a lovely route. I did the run from Nottingham to Matlock and need to brake later into Matlock Bath next time.

I used to do the run from Newark Castle to Derby back when there were 1st Generation DMUs and lots of interesting stuff in the sidings near Derby PSB, including the APT, HST prototype and what looked like a maglev. It's fair to say that it's hard to remember what it looked like then to be able to be honest and say, "looks just like real life." :)

Has anybody completed the 6M04 Humber International Coal Terminal to Ratcliffe Power Station scenario?
