Re: Pennine Pacer 323

So far I have only got the GMPTE version working, because I used to drive them.
And I have used the RSC/Class365Pack02 as the base train as it is stand alone instead of part of the ECML route - not that it should make a difference.

Another way is to have the 323 file in the PenninePacer/SYB_MCV folder and point it back to the RSC 365
But that was getting too difficult for me

I am very happy for any modification to be published. I suggest you update to version 2 of the route as this features correct headlights for the GMPTE livery.

Please could you post a screenshot of the passengers? If they are not blocking the doors I may be able to move some seats around.

I got the v2 upgrade - Lights on the GM version are as I remember them :)

The seating in the 323 is arranged in bays around the windows
https://paulbigland.zenfolio.com/p10405 ... #h4f97d918

And I think the Kuju 166 is about the nearest as the body length is also 23mtr
165-1m_1.jpg
Because I have used the 365 for the basis of the traction it uses the 365 passengers which are also arranged like the 166
323-3m_1.jpg
323-2m_1.jpg
If the interior could be made like the Kuju 166 it could use that interior - it's not perfect but I don't know of another 23mtr unit with a similar set up

The problem is some face the wrong way and I would not know where to even begin

But it would give people amusement telling me what I had done wrong ;)

I have tried to copy the 166 interior. Some passengers are perched on the edge of the seats, but no passengers are floating or clipping into the seat backs.

That looks good :)
Going to try it myself and same for the TSO

EDIT - tried the MSO and I have no Passengers
I pointed the Passengers in the Children section to be those from the 166 MSO but it was not that easy
Back to the drawing board :(

Same as you usually do....deciding a problem is bigger than it is rather than looking in the .bin file.

Same procedure as for the driver, values 13, 14 & 15 adjust the positioning. You probably won't get it perfect--more chance if Nicholas releases the rework of the interior--but you'd probably be able to improve how it looks.

The version Nicholas did using the Class 166 passengers looks quite good as they are relatively correct for a 23mtr coach rather than fiddling with a 20mtr coach

So point the .bin to the 166 passengers by copying over the relevant child object entry.

Seems to be the same for both the 323, 365 and 166 so no idea what it does.

I don’t own RSC/Class365Pack02, is that the NSE reskin from the marketplace? If so it says that it requires the ECML London-Peterborough, so you might as well use the ECML 365.
323MSO.jpg
TSOL done, 1 passenger is clipping into the seat back but it shouldn’t be too noticeable.
323int2.jpg
Minor interior improvements, ignore the line down the middle.

Yes, the 365Pack02 is the NSE Reskin - it seemed easy to use as a stand alone pack

Many thanks
