Re: [DTG] LNER BR Class 43 announced
Aaaannd as you be expected, it’s bad. No really it’s bad. The physics are laughable! It’s faster than an electric adzuma! How to DTG consistently get this stuff wrong? Or are they just not bothering anymore?
I also love the sound when you go under a bridge or through a tunnel. Did they record that from an electric fan oven?

Not sure why you'd have rushed to buy it if you expected it to be bad mind, but each to their own.
Re: [DTG] LNER BR Class 43 announced
1. I haven’t and now most certainly won’t buy it.
2. For the hard of thinking, I’m talking acceleration. But you knew that, didn’t you?

So your observations aren't really yours, but a re-hash of what you've read/seen on youtube/heard as rumour simply used as any excuse to have a swipe at it?dan5324 wrote:1. I haven’t and now most certainly won’t buy it.

Riiiight. Becasue it’s completely and utterly impossible to have tried this without actually buying it, isn’t it? Completely impossible.....

And this everyone is a perfect example of why you should take reviews with a pinch of salt when you get people like Dan5324 jumping in a forum to criticse a product he does not even own. Laughable.dan5324 wrote:1. I haven’t and now most certainly won’t buy it.

Legally, yes....but if you've used it on a mates PC and not a ripped off copy then surely your statement should have started with "Having tried this on a mates PC, all I can say is...…"dan5324 wrote:Becasue it’s completely and utterly impossible to have tried this without actually buying it, isn’t it?
Re: [DTG] LNER BR Class 43 announced
Sorry never knew I had to explain where and when and on who’s pc etc etc. Must remember to read the UKTS posting rules, to which I presume you’re Chief editor?

Do you really expect not to be questioned when you post a disparaging review and then state you don't have the stock?

It almost reads as if you wanted to find any excuse to come on here and slate it! It is like some of the "reviews" you get on Facebook. Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I can almost hear the glee in your voice.dan5324 wrote:Aaaannd as you be expected, it’s bad. No really it’s bad. The physics are laughable! I love reading these topics, it helps to get me through the day sometimes! I can see the padlock of doom making an appearance. Again.
As an aside, I have watched a review of the new HST and I am on the fence as to whether or not to buy it. The power car and cab interior look lovely, but there is just something about the Mk3's that doesn't sit right with me. Maybe a sale purchase I think.
Just my humble opinion mind.
Cheers
Terrone.

Yes, likewise. As I said in my first post on this topic, the livery looks very smart and the new cab interior does look good. It is priced a bit more than I would have liked to be honest (the triumph of hope over expectation!), so I think I too will wait for a sale discount on it.TElsmore wrote:I love reading these topics, it helps to get me through the day sometimes! I do have the AP pack at to be honest I don't really run trains that up to date so GNER livery or East Coast is fine for me.
I did watch the live stream of it yesterday with Colonel Failure but it was a failure there were some technical issues and most of the HST review was a blank screen, it managed to be quite entertaining though!

Yes, there were technical issues but hopefully the HST will be shown tonight by Sam (Col Failure). The technical issues were with his streaming setup not the product but he was confident they would be fixed by tonight.

Exactly well said but notice he is full of praise for another third party developer funny that. Just ignore him. And he will go away when he don’t get any more attention.
