There's nothing in those specs that jumps out as being particularly weak, but is this one of those "all in one" machines?

It wasn't a gaming machine but a good all rounder, I've put my own card in but it's otherwise standard, About 4 year old now

OK, so it's not one of the integrated jobbies that look great but can only be considered to be huge laptops. That's good, means we're dealing with *proper* components.

A 4 year old machine is nowhere near "past it" so we're really looking at an issue within the setup or the configuration.
I assume every other game/program you use functions as it should so that only leaves the game.

Do you have TS on the SSD, or Windows, or both and how much free disc space does the system drive have?

It's red for a reason....what are the actual figures for the disc space used and free space left on each?

I haven't seen an official figure for Win10, but 7 required 15% of the system drive to be free in order to be able to run it's background maintenance routines. Assuming 10 follows suit you really should have something like 40GB of free space at the least.

I may have corrupted my Yorkshire coast route after running it through RW Tools to replace fence lofts, I've installed a back up, Also have 40G plus on my C drive and I'm seeing what I can lose from the D drive, Might Clear cache in TS2020 and reinstall sound packs etc, Hopefully all will be good, Thanks for your help

If they're AP sound packs you may find your free drive space rapidly disappears---the installers like to leave huge amounts of data in C:\Users\<your account name>\AppData\Local\Temp

It's safe to delete the contents of that Temp folder to get that disc space back though.
