I can now run the route with the scenery quality, density and distance at full and FXAA at 2x2. I can even run with the 3D track.

I replaced my Kuju folder with one from a 'vanilla' installation and that stopped the crashing. I've added in various bits and pieces and it's currently running fine, so I'll now only add in things that end up missing. My Kuju folder was 15.0 Gb and is now under 5.9 Gb.
I wonder if it's because of a number of reskins that use Kuju assets causes the folder to bloat up?
My Kuju folder is at 11.5 GB and I was also having problems before the crash in that area.

Did you have a Vanilla copy you could copy over or did you re-download the Euro Loco and Asset Pack?

I had a vanilla copy, I reinstalled the game last year and made a backup copy before starting installing add-ons again.

I've checked Western Mainlines and it too looks for the "jt_Buildings_HousingEstatesStraighH.bin" in the Common Library, so the asset obviously isn't a new one, just missing for some reason. I also found a bridge in the wrong place (it was looking in JustTrains\GreatWestern\Asset when it was in JustTrains\GreatWestern\Scenery\Bridges).

Also missing three items from Assets\BenGarfirth\Source\Environment\Terrain\Decals. I have a "Ben Garfirth" folder in Assets (with the space) but it doesn't have the missing content. Anyone know where those could be found?

Probably Google Earth decals used in the building of the route, so they won't be available. By rights the references to them should have been deleted from the route but it's easy to miss a small number. In other words, don't worry about 'em--you don't need 'em, can't get 'em so just delete them with RW Tools.

Didn't Just Trains update a number of routes before the S* stock wax released to make said routes compatible with the new trains? If so, perhaps it was added to WML then, so it very well could be a new asset.
peteskink wrote:The missing assets aren't a huge problem, I was just interested to find out what they were and where they were supposed to be.
If you list them, as reported by RW Tools, we'll soon be able to tell you---my guess though is that they're trigger points from the S8 stock/Met route.

Yes, the missing items are all from the S8Stock\Railnetwork\Triggerpoints folder, so not an issue as I don't have the S8Stock or the Metropolitan line.
jt_triggerpoint_s8_RadioCentres.bin
jt_triggerpoint_s8_stop_0_2.bin
jt_triggerpoint_s8_stop_2_0.bin
jt_triggerpoint_s8_stop_2_2.bin
jt_triggerpoint_s8_stop_3_3.bin
jt_triggerpoint_s8_TCMS_Station.bin

My Western Mainlines was update in Nov 2019 so yes, as you say, the missing HousingEstates asset could well be a recent addition.

I bought the Just Trains Metropolitan line and S7+ in the recent sale, and found a couple of items missing - one even from the Chiltern Line, which i don't have.

I've raised a ticket with Just Trains Support, and had an initial reply saying the they will investigate.

Assets\JustTrains\ChilternMainline\Scenery\Buildings\jt_building_Tyseley_loco_works.bin (Scenery Item) on tile -000031+000018.bin
Assets\JustTrains\CommonLibrary\RailNetwork\Signals\Signals\JTLU_Sem_1T_Fibre.bin (Track Item) on tile Tracks.bin
Assets\JustTrains\CommonLibrary\RailNetwork\Signals\Signals\JTLU_Sem_1T_Fibre.bin (Track Item) on tile Tracks.bin
Alan

My railway photos are now on Google + - links to the albums are in this thread http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=149558

Lots of steam and early diesels from 1959 to 1963.

Sorry gptech, Steam informed me that JTs common library is in The Kyle Line: Inverness - Kyle of Lochalsh Route Add-On and also I believe in London Metropolitan route.

Just Trains Common Library comes with all their newer routes, I've heard it's all since Newcastle to Edinburgh. Maybe it would be more sensible to have a separate download rather than download it with every route. That would also make it easy for them to keep it up to date. Presumably some of the newer routes have more in their version of the common Library than older ones.

I agree Pete. I have also have just had it confirmed that Just Trains Common Library is included with all JT routes released since December 2015.

Not one who would dare argue with Gary :-). I do not own the Metropolitan line but do have the HousingEstateStraightH.bin in my JT common assets folder.

What I do own is the Chiltern Main line London to Birmingham. This route (updated to version 1.04) is a requirement of the Chiltern Main Line London Aylesbury Extension.
It may sound a daft question to Peteskink, do you have the CML London to Birmingham?

Yes I have the Chiltern main line and the Aylesbury extension. I have version 1.06 of the main line, I suppose it's possible JT removed the asset (possibly by accident) in the updated version. I still haven't had a reply to my support ticket.

Peteskink

I have just downloaded from my JT account onto a new lap top. No previous install of JT assets.

My findings are. When I down load CML_Aylesbury_105 = London - Aylesbury Extension
JT Assets folder, Nothing for the Common Library, Chiltern Mainline folder -just a scenery & stations folder.

Down loading CML_107 = Chiltern Main line London to Birmingham.
JT asset folder now contains a Common Library, Inside that folder I have HousingEstateStraightH
Also inside the asset folder inside the ChilterMainline folder Railvehicles/Electric I have an S8 folder which I believe is for the AI S8 only.

As I have no interest in the underground, I do not have the Metropolitan line or the S8 Advanced stock.

Hope all this makes sense and is of some help to you.

I see on the Just Trains website changelog for the Chiltern Mainline says that version 1.07 fixed one scenario which wouldn't run. I'm guessing it also updated the Common Library. I didn't buy the Chiltern Mainline directly from Just Trains, I got it from Aerosoft and version 1.06 is still the latest version there.

I'll wait and see what Just Trains say when they answer my support ticket. As I've said, it's not a big loss not having that one missing Asset.
