Humble Train Sim Bundle
https://www.humblebundle.com/games/train-simulator
This has to be the best deal on Train Simulator ever. £345 of DLC for £9.60, most of which I didn't already own.

Re: Humble Train Sim Bundle
The nice part is you are able to donate those Add-ons you do own to somebody else
I only added the TS2020 and the Chatham & Medway route and I have donated the Riviera and Weardale routes to a friend

Peter, when you added the TS2020 from this bundle (as an external purchase), Steam did not try to delete your TS installation and start re-installing everything from scratch? This happened to me once some years back when I bought full TS again and clicked "Install games" right after the purchase. If you don't click this, there's no problem, but there is no such option while adding a code purchased externally...749006 wrote:The nice part is you are able to donate those Add-ons you do own to somebody else

Are you able to gift them to someone else? Web site states the following when I got the keys for the ones I wanted "Steam will not provide extra giftable copies of games you already own." Or do you just get the code from your account and pass that on?
Still a good deal mind. Didn't have 4, total cost on Steam for those €71.96, got them for €10.90. Certainly worth thinking about.

I entered the code for TS2020 and then the Chatham/Medway and they just installing with the Downloading bar.
Humble Bundle just sends you a link to the Codes which you can accept or email. They don't know if you have a Steam account or not or what you already own.wyliecoyote wrote:Peter

Because it gives you an option to email the code to another person that is what I did
If I tried to redeem them and I already had the DLC it would not let me
I have to check with Keith when he gets home to see if it worked.

Re: Humble Train Sim Bundle
Peter
Many thanks. Would you mind letting me know how you do get on because potentially I have 13 surplus codes and none of my friends are into TS so I'm more than happy to give them a good home at nil cost. I have an Humble account and I get my purchases/codes through that, not via email. It was on my account that I noticed on that it states it is linked to my Steam ID. Perhaps because I've done that way it might actually know what I already have.
Regards
Andrew

Just contact one of them and use the option to send the code and see if it works
From what I read on another forum there should be no problem
My friend who I sent the Weardale route to is out today so I have to wait
