Hi Jonwatto

I found their St Ives Branch Station Signs (Alex55) on High Speed Tracks' Facebook Page. They advise to download the relevant files from the following link...

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tAVmQA ... DJDLx/view

If this link doesnt work, then contact me.

Cheers

Hi Chaps

I have downloaded the new V9 of the route.

Can I just check with you all...as I already have v8.7 installed, would I be right in saying all I need to do to upgrade, is to remove the V8.7 "Content" folder, and replace it with the V9 one in my trainsim folder ? In other words I take it there is no need to do anything with the "Assets" folders, as they wont have changed in V9 ??

Is this correct ?

Thanks

Derek

I assume that you are doing it manually, ie have unzipped the .rwp archive. Just drag and drop the Assets and Content folders into your Railworks folders and let Explorer do its job. It will ask if you wish to overwrite the existing files of the same name - just say yes (ie click on the top option). It will only take seconds, and will ensure that you have the latest files. There may have been no changes to the Assets, but doing it this way takes less time than making a query on the Forum. :D

Nick

PS If it is an .exe installation, then that should do exactly what I detailed above, so you should have no need to remove anything first

As I have neither the Western Mainlines or the Hatchet Hill DLC I'm wondering what I might be missing?

Ran the last version and noticed Totnes Station platforms were not there

Thanks for the reply Peter. There's a lot of stuff on that page. Any way to narrow it down?

Those assets come with the route but are actually in Assets\Ceege\Scenery\Buildings. You could try creating the Newton folder and copying the contents of Assets\Ceege\Scenery\Buildings into it.

Are they simply reskins of the ..\JustTrains\Bristol_Exeter_1\Scenery\Buildings assets (Customer Information Signs, Bristol Temple Meads, Platform....)?

If so, doesn't shifting them to your own Provider folder smack a little of making it seem like you've done all the hard work in making them to start with? OK, if they were made for whoever by some other whoever a case could be made for them being his to do as he pleases with, which is where we look at copyright.... if they'd been commissioned by the first whoever then they'd probably be the copyright holder, taking us back to square 1.
