I don't know how long the forums are going to hold out now but in case this reaches some people, here's a little teaser video of something I've been working on for the F&WHR Phase II.

https://www.facebook.com/nll1980s/video ... 481548568/

Hopefully link is viewable by non-FB users.

Steve will follow on with some WHR screenshots soon, probably when the forum software has been updated.

That looks rather nice!

I don't really have any memories of Mountaineer (the second one, not the original, I'm not that old!) but I gather it's a popular locomotive with many.

Just a quick update to say I've reuploaded Bug Boxes 3 & 4 as they now feature opening doors.

Hi All
I've been waiting for Matt to sort this new server/site problems so that I can provide an update on what's been happening with the FR&WHR Route.

I will provide a new posting of the progress & shots to-date on the re-build of the WHR section of the route - I've done Beddgelert and moving onto Rhyd Ddu at the moment.

I took a break to make some more rolling stock for the FR and the first pack is available from my revamped website - https://sprailways.co.uk/sprailways-product-listing/

It's a pack for the Heritage Freight Wagons that are often used at the Victorian Weekend and comes with two scenarios to show them off.

In the pipeline is a pack of Heritage Coaches that show off some of the current stock that is in use on the restricted COVID train services running on the FR. These should be available in a few weeks.

Having trouble adding an image to show the Wagons.

I was just wondering how progress was getting on with phase two of the project, will we have to pay extra to get phase two or will it be an updated version via Email?

This could have changed/could still change, but I believe Steve said that Phase 2 would be available at a discounted price too those who have bought phase 1. Seems well worth any price in my opinion because the WHR is looking amazing.

That's correct. Purchasers of Phase 1 Route will get a discount when purchasing Phase 2 when released.
Haven't worked out how to do that exactly yet but I will nearer the time.

It will be based on quoting the number provided in the FRWHR_PhaseControl.txt file that you can find under the RailWorks\Assets\SPRailways folder so if you don't know how to get to that file, you have plenty of time to find out :D

BTW - A Merry Christmas and hopefully a much better New Year in 2021 to everyone who has supported my drive to raise money for the Talyllyn & Ffestiniog/Welsh Highlands Railways through these downloads. You've raised approx. £3,500 since my website went live in May so both railways have benefitted from these funds.

Many thanks!!

Ah thanks for that, I look forward to phase 2 being released. Glad to hear your supporting the real railways. :)

Hi All
A quick update on the route and rolling stock to say that there is a new coaches pack available from my website - https://sprailways.co.uk/

Package contains:
Set of 8 Welsh Highland Coaches with autonumbering features which consist of:

MODERN A - 2043,2044,2045
MODERN B - 2040,2042
MODERN D - 2046,2047,2048
MODERN E - 2090,2091
OPEN SALOONS - 2021,2022
SERVICE CARS - 2010,2011
PULLMANS - 2100, 2152

This set gives the user the ability to create the two WHR consist sets running in 2019

As the WHR section of the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway route is still in development, I have included a short demo scenario running on the initial part of the Welsh Highland section from Porthmadog to Pont Croeso. This gives the user the ability to see the coaches in action.

As usual, proceeds go toward the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Society funds
