dump files on TS 2019

Post by geoffholt »

Hi, we are continually getting dump files garnering information from the system and program files when starting up TS2019.
We are running Windows 8.1
Intel HD graphics 4600
RAM 16 gab
Processor is Intel Core i7 4810MQ CPU @ 2.80 ghz

Anyone help.
Thanks Geoff

That a laptop?
The GPU will be the problem, what graphical settings in game are you using?
Do you have Steam and TS in the default location of Program Files (x86)?

Yip a laptop.
Graphics are on High, and we are using the default for Steam and TS.
Thanks

Turn down your settings, see how things go then. If OK, work gently upwards with the settings.

We've missed a couple of questions (at least), so back tracking a fair bit....

has the game ever loaded/run smoothly time after time?
if yes, what have you installed just prior to it developing the crashing?

Hi,
Sorry bit of a gap since last posting.
We now are using another laptop that has an i-7 intel 6 core 9750H 2.6 ghz 4.5 turbo processor.

We have been using TS for at least 3 years and do not usually have a problem.

On this laptop both 32 and 64 TS bit are getting the 0xC0000005 memory error and a dump now.

The issue did not follow a specific add on being added.

Thanks Fred
