For those complaining about the price it’s simple. Wait 6 months or so for AP’s sale then you can grab it for 40% off the current price.

It seems every new AP product that comes out creates a series of posts that’s almost a copy/paste from the previous releases by AP by the same individuals, rather predictable. If you don’t like it, think it’s too expensive or don’t like the company etc etc, just don’t buy the product it’s that simple.

But if you are one of those people and actually LIKE it - now that would be a post worth reading!

People have as much right to leave negative posts as the people who want to leave positive posts. But it seems AP fan boys don't like that and have to resort to comments that could start a war on here and get threads locked.

Calling them fan boys isn't exactly constructive either! :/

+1 to that. It's a bit childish name calling. Keep it constructive and people will oft listen to what you have to say.

That would still make it £15, the same as full price pro models from the likes of Bossman, Victory Works, VR etc on Steam. For me that's still too expensive as I've got an entirely usable Ovee 156, bought at the much more acceptable price of £6 in a Steam sale.

Are you guaranteeing that discount as an authorised agent/representative of AP, or just using a guess as a reason to find sometbing/anything to refute peoples personal opinions that, for them, the AP 156 has a low value?

Eh?
Every single piece of AP content has been discounted at least 40% at certain times of the year, this isn’t a secret or a new thing, as you well know, doesn’t need anyone authorised to tell you that.

I’m not refuting anyone’s opinion, as it’s their opinion which they are entitled to. My point is that if it’s too expensive for them now, then by waiting for their sale, then they can purchase the same item less 40% of the original price thus making it affordable to them, which is what I tend to do these days.

As one of the aforementioned whingers, it's not that I can't afford the 156, I can. It's more a question of perceived value; even if it were half the price, your average punter would not have any scenarios to showcase their shiny new purchase. Let's have a bunch of scenarios for popular routes that don't require half the AP back catalogue to run (please ;))! JT if I recall are pretty good in that respect.

To follow on from the previous post

How many people do not by a new loco/train if they do not have the stock / route to run the included scenarios?

Some makers of new trains have to take the time to create and test a scenario that comes with their produce - others just provide the produce for the owner to use as they wish.
Personally I buy a loco/train because I wish to run it and not for the included scenarios - but each of us are different hence the question

Is anyone getting this too when looking back in the 156 cab?

Would never expect this to happen with a 25 quid product...

I know it's sometimes hard to avoid this in TS, but still... will see if pushing the view slightly forward will fix this.

This might be down to your FOV setting.

Not really, higher FOV can help cover this by looking more into the centre of the screen, but overall it's still there of course. My FOV is set to default anyway.

Wow for £25 you wouldn’t expect this.
