It means the config is equal to a value, or variable, known as 'x'. The real question is "what does 'config' mean?"
Where did you see this interesting line?

In the manual. I've seen "Config=RR", "Config=NR" and "Config=CT", so it obviously applies to specific liveries, I just want to know which livery has which codes.

At a guess, RR = Regional Railways; NR = Northern Rail; CT = Central Trains.

£24,99 for a single unit is beyond a joke it really is

What makes me laugh is the AP fanboys all complain DTG charge 24,99 for a route which will come with stock yet it’s perfectly acceptable for AP to charge that for a 156 pack it’s beyond a joke now. And I dread to think what the total cost is for the scenarios to function properly giving the long list of requirements as per usual.

Can some kind soul give me some pointers to get this moving.
Trying first scenatio in Wherry Line:

Master Key ON
Reverser moved and AWS cancelled
Engine started
Compressor ON
Brake pressure around 7
DRA OFF

Brakes show 99% On which does not correspond to lever position and throttle has no effect.,

What on earth have I missed?

If you have switched the compressor speed up switch on, then you won't be able to release the brakes, you need to leave it off. I once had this in real life when the guard in the rear cab knocked the switch on as we left Haymarket. I had a few choice words for him on that day.

Totally my thoughts as well,,you must be brave to pull any AP product down,,i hope you have locked all your doors, buy a bigdog,,cos the fans are after you lol ( only a joke ) I have the old 156 with about 30 re-skins,all work fine except a couple with the open door dump problem..I think if AP are doing a NEW loco,s it would be one we don't have,eg 185,,then maybe they could charge a bit more. The new 156 has too many things the same as the old one,,maybe a bit better..I have nothing against AP,i have a few of his loco's 43 ( Valenta,MTU ),,205,456,321,,but since the price hike,i think very carefully about what I buy.

Lol totally I will need to dig myself a bunker for protection A certain few members from here must be slamming there keyboards right now with a reply of “how we are trolling” and how not to talk badly of AP.

If a product is worth it I will buy it however I see nothing that warrants even half the price asked if this unit compared to the old one.

Do you also disagree with the price of the JT Railjet, Searchlight AC4400 and TSG's 425 then as they're all in that ballpark price wise?

Agree,,if a product is worth it,i will buy,,i got the RWA Taurus Advanced, now £31.99,but I got it in a sale at £21.99,,worth every penny ( if you like Austrian/German loco's ) took me 3 or 4 days to get the hang of all the button's and switches,,now that's VFM

I would be happy to pay £25 for a 185. Got to admit I'm surprised MKS has not pushed that out yet what with the amount of northern routes out there. As nice as this add-on is I'm still not seeing passengers in any of the youtube videos and it seems strange to release a passenger train with no passengers.

I have a lot of class 156 and they are all perfect.
Why would any sensible person want to blow 25 quid on something we have had for years that works perfectly and comes in every color you could possibly need.
Apart from just being a big fan boy there is no point in this add on. The time it would take to replace all the old scenarios with this unit is just not worth it, and it's not like the old days when you used to get people making scenarios left right and center for every new release that came along.
I'm going to give this a miss too I'm afraid as it will just sit on the hard drive doing nothing. Thanks but no thanks AP. Nice try though. Maybe something that we need next time eh...
