DTG Southampton-Bournemouth Announced

Well my wallet is stay in my pocket, line too short, could have gone to Poole or Weymouth, would have preferred Southampton to Waterloo, they would only have need to go as far as Woking, much more scenario potential.

Because the water loft sits under the grass too.... how long did it take you to find that 2 or 3 seconds (max) of video that shows a tiny, tiny, glitch/anomaly in how the assets in the game work and fit together---most people will have been watching the train, not it's reflection.

Odd reflections are apparently nothing new...here's an oddity from another route.....

Problem I see with route as it is to day It goes from Southampton Central to Bournemouth,there is only the Lymington Branch,is Marchwood FLT included?then on to Bournemouth.
It seems just X Country and South Western Railway go between Southampton and Bournemouth,slow train takes 45 minutes,fast train 28 minutes.

Mike,

Marchwood is a Military Port rather than a Freightliner Terminal, but in any case it's not included; the Fawley Branch which serves it is only a stub in the DTG route. Maritime and Millbrook FLTs are included though as are the Western Docks.

I'll purchase this route eventually, but it doesn't offer much for operational possibility. There's passenger services, railtours, and the Wool-Angerstein stone train and that's about it.

I disagree John...it smacks of just another attempt to portray a DTG offering in as bad a light as possible. Yeah, the reflection is wrong, by what?...a couple of feet-maybe a yard, and it doesn't take long to find "reflection errors" in any route that features bridges over water. Once again, yes it's wrong; but it's a limitation introduced by how the various elements in a route work, and shouldn't be highlighted as a fault with just this route.
By all means find the *real* faults/issues in the route, any route, but look at them in the context of "this is how the game is/works". If things upset you so much, see if you can change that "how the game works" thing to something better.

No it doesn't. It appears you are being overly-sensitive on DTG's behalf. It was a comment by a user who had noticed something strange. Are we not to mention strange things we notice just because YOU interpret it as an attack on DTG. I think not.

You sound surprised Gary. Don’t forget it’s one rule for DTG and another for another certain 3rd party. Wasn’t so long ago when I was finding fault with a certain 3rd party whom shall remain nameless that I got attacked for it. Was getting called a troll and all sorts. Yet here we are with people fault finding a DTg route AS USUAL. If only they done the same about a certain 3rd party. Oh that’s right they are allowed to do bugs and glitches such as having rain inside a passenger view. Yes that’s perfectly realistic and acceptable

Really nice route and love the detail. Has a real country suburban feel to it. Looking forward to seeing the community scenarios soon appearing on here and the workshop.

Does it include Bournemouth Train care Depot? Would make sense to include it as you could do empty stock runs to the Depot both ends of the route then. It does not sound like it is though. Shame!

Well I wont be buying it when theres a free southampton to weymouth route available and it's steam era,it's far too short and modern image.
And people have a right to complain freedom of speech I guess some people have never heard of this say what you think no need to be rude.
To make it more interesting they could of included Eastleigh but maybe thats to much work for them,I know theres at least three free routes that include Eastleigh made by other people Southern lines,Hampshire lines steam era and another I cant remember admittedly they are work in progress.
