some signals on Steaming over Shap not OK

Post by jalmar »

Hi,

I like the route 'steaming over Shap' very much. But in some places (eg Preston) som signalarms are way off, far too low, not attached to their masts.

I identified some :
RailNetwork~Signals~UK Semaphore~BRS_TU_Posts~BRS_TU JuncSig_Gnty_BT_bhbhdmhd.xml
RailNetwork~Signals~UK Semaphore~BRS_TU_Posts~BRS_TU CombSig_ssss.xml

Trying to find these with windows explorer gives me nothing, so I suppose the xml files are not in my installation. The corresponding GeoPcDx are present.
What can i do to repair ?

Your help is much appreciated.

Hi Albert

When you look at the asset properties in the right hand box, it identifies them as .xml files. In the actual assets, they are .bin files. We have had some (slight) problems with one or two of the signals, which can (very occasionally) show the arm(s) lower than they should be. There is an instant cure - reload the Yelland signals from the download asset bundle - when asked if you wish to overwrite, say yes.

Do not try to fix them in the Editor.

Let me know how you get on

Nick

Great to hear. It is just another of those random foibles that the sim is prone to!
