From Ulf on Railsim de courtesy of Google translate;

Moins Together,

short intermediate: Currently, two 218er pilots with the locomotive on the way, as expected, a whole sack full of changes that still need to be incorporated, it goes ahead.

Shortly to the planned sales version: The first package for the 218 will contain two vehicles in traffic-red color with the roof version A and once the "normal" bogies and those of MAK. Planned are more color versions, possibly orient red, blue-beige and altrot.

All those who have bought the basic version will be able to download the other color versions as a repaint to the basic version for free in the shop.
In addition to the color versions, there will also be packages on sale, which will then each have a matching control car and passenger cars to the content.

I think this regulation is fairer than the handle in the past.

I can not answer the questions about the timing, but everything comes when it's done

Let's see what the quality will be like. I never was too happy indeed paying for same engine in different colours, but on the other hand, from release over release the quality has also improved every time and newer E10s / BR110 have better scripting than older versions, for instance.

Cheers,

Per what Ulf from vR has posted today over at rail-sim.de the pack could be released next week. Not confirmed yet though.

There is now a placeholder on the VR site, so should be incoming in the next couple of days I would think. https://virtual-railroads.de/de/15-diesel-el

The placeholder was put there a few days back already, Holz. Of course tomorrow is a good chance but I wouldn't hold my breath...

I know it was, I only just got around to posting it. The stated intention last week was that it would hopefully be published this week, and as you say tomorrow is Thursday. Generally Ulf sticks with such timings unless something unexpected crops up, so whilst I wouldn't hold my breath, I would certainly check my bank balance.

Just got the loco - shows as 17.09 Euro in the UK which is £15.84

You can read the manual by downloading it here https://virtual-railroads.de/gb/expertl ... ttachments
One slight problem of people wishing to use the PZB help is it requires a button not found on an English Keyboard

Try Shift & - that should work. Looks like a small error crept in along the way.

I bought it too in the morning, great loco indeed. Sounds cannot compare with AP's diesels but still very good. Just had one small quick drive and I'm already very happy with the purchase.

Keyboard mapping - if there's an issue with that - can be changed in the mapping file I believe...?

Shouldn't need changing the the German double S symbol is replaced by the - on a qwerty keyboard.
