GWR class 800 diesel mode

Post by chris higgin »

Looking for a bit of help, I have downloaded the GWR class 800 reskin from Superlabs the five car diesel version is missing the 3 middle cars , end driving cars show fully, the 3 middle cars show only couplings and corridor connections. I assume the problem is the geo files but I cant find them. I have re downloaded a couple of times but no joy obviously wont drive. the electric version is fine although the consists are five cars only. I have no doubt the solution is staring me in the face but I cant see it.

Cheers Chris H

This reskin requires the East Coast Mainline South for this reskin to work!if not ticked that's why.

In the file you downloaded for the reskin is a Readme in pdf form which tells you where the GeoPcDx files can be found and what you need to copy.

Ticking of ECML South is not required

Have printed the instructions off, and have been over them quite a few times, as I said the electric version is fine full set of five, its the diesel with the three missing middle coaches that is the problem.

All coaches present and correct on my five car diesel version. There are a total of 9 geo files to copy over from the default 801.

The diesel and electric variants use the same .GeoPcDx files, it's only the control sets that define which mode is in use so if you have one showing the other should also show. Are you placing both types on the track side by side in the same test scenario? Try the individual coaches rather than the pre-load consists---they may be files that are *less than perfect*

Thank you all for your replies, have tried all suggestions still no success still the same three middle cars missing on GWR and white diesel and no power, some electric consists ok. I have unloaded the DTG version as well as the Superlabs stuff and started over again just the same except, on certain consists I am getting a violation message - exception info unknown - excode -0x00000000. I shall now e-mail Superlabs. Thanks again, Chris H.
