Anybody know of a Narrow Gauge Diesel for TS19?
One of the routes I bought in the sale was the Pietermaritzburg to Ladysmith.
Its a bit old style but I'm enjoying messing with the line.
But it only had one type of electric loco even though non-electrified lines exist.
And I was wondering if anyone knew of a Narrow Gauge Diesel, 3"6' or Meter Gauge but a large body?
Does not have to be South African - I was looking on Railworks America but did not spot anything useful.
I can find numerous MSTS stuff but nothing for TS2019
Thanks
Peter

Isn't Cape Gauge the standard in Japan and NZ? If so Chris Trains do a NZ commuter DMU.

On the Pikku site at https://pikku.msts.cz/railsim.html
Scroll down to the 10th loco headed "Úzkorozchodná dieselová lokomotiva" (Úzkorozchodná means narrow gauge)
This is a nice 760mm (2ft 6 inch) gauge diesel shunter-style loco. Controls take some getting used to but it works nicely

HI
some time in the future there will be a route set in the South Island of NZ which goes east to west across the NZ Alps, they will have some NZ DZ diesels with it,and NZ stock,so I can see some mix and matching going on with SA stock, due to the being the same gauge, the SA routes are lacking any box vans and refrigerating vans.

I have looked for Diesel but everything comes up as MSTS

Peter,
Bernard Deschamps has an interesting collection of French metric gauge stock - including a B-B diesel locomotive - at http://deschamp-bernard.chez-alice.fr/content2.htm.
Kind regards,
John M

I haven't checked but I seem to remember there was a NG diesel in one of the Welsh Mt railways, possibly Portmadoc to Blaenau Festiniog.

Glad you like them, Peter!
If electric metrics are of interest, take a look - if you haven't already - at Pierre Gauriat's products at http://ajrailsim.free.fr/.
Kind regards,
John M
