I recently downloaded the superb TT3 route and found a problem with activities using the Blue Pullman.
These activities load & run fine, but when saved produces a problem - the emergency brakes are apparently locked on & can't be released. There is a strange speed value showing in the F5 HUD display.
I seem to recollect something about the RF Blue Pullman eng file in the forums, but I can't find it again.
If some kind soul could put me out of their misery I'd be most obliged.

Re: Blue Pullman save problem
Hi Geoff, looking at the stock Read-me page, it lists the following files to be installed after loading the main loco i.e. File ID 24401.

Thank you very much.
I thought I had already done those but I'll do 'em again to double check.

Oh dear ! No change.
Activity will run & save, but on reloading the save, emergency brakes are locked on & unreleasonable.

Hi Geoff,
Are you using Open Rails?
If so, may I suggest that you post in the OR Forum where you'll probably get a good answer
I would normally help myself, but I'm currently a little temporarily disabled, typing-wise!!
Cheers,
Ged

Re: Blue Pullman save problem
Hi Ged, I've been trying to help Geoff via P.M. and nothing makes any difference so in the last message I've just read he is going to try another Blue Pullman Consist to see what happens.
He has not mentioned Open Rails at any time so I must assume it is only happening in MSTS, I did have problems once with my F5 Display after re-loading a save so just got round this by
not saving a run and did the run straight through, I've suggested to Geoff he also tries to do the run without saving.

Re: Blue Pullman save problem
Hi Bob,
It was Geoff's mention of F5 HUD in his first post, which made me think of Open Rails.
Problems have been reported regarding the inability to release emergency brakes which have been erroneously applied in OR.
Cheers,
Ged

Re: Blue Pullman save problem
Thanks for the help,chaps.
Yes, I am running it in MSTS1, have realised of course that running the activity through without saving works.
The best way I've found to run these Blue Pullman activities is to simply change the player consist to another blue pullman & then everything works fine.

Re: Blue Pullman save problem
Hi Geff, glad to see that not saving meant you could complete the run but why is this happening to that particular consist.
One of the Mid_East Plus Activities had an extra (26) in one of the carriages lines caused after saving for it to loose its wheels and freeze the consists speed so that you couldn't carry on.
Once this line had been removed, the activity worked correctly and so I'll see what happens when I try and do the TT3 Activity run myself.
