AP 175 Enhancement Pack
Hi,
Can anyone help with this issue at all?
Just bought the 175 enhancement pack from AP. It appears to have installed correctly as does the "extra stock" file.
None of the additional scenarios are showing up in the sim, and a quick test on a quick drive throws up something weird....it takes ages to load, and then only shows the cab. When you go outside there is no train showing at all? You can't actually drive it either - appears the engine wont start. I've already reinstalled & cleared cache - nothing works.
Any suggestions?
Any help much appreciated, thanks,
Rich

Re: AP 175 Enhancement Pack
Branding patch wouldn't matter (other than lacking branding!)
But when you install the Extra Stock, you also have to run a .bat file InstallMe.bat that sits inside the Assets folder. It copeis over the .Geo filesw and other stuuf
Did you do that?

Re: AP 175 Enhancement Pack
Always install in this order:
1. Sound pack
2. Extra stock
3. Branding
I've never had to run the .bat file, the installer has always done the job itself.

Re: AP 175 Enhancement Pack
Does the default 175 run normally?
Give that a run to check it was installed correctly
Are you looking at the Correct 175?
The one which came with the South Wales Route rather than the North Wales Coastal?

Thanks Peter.
Yup the default one runs fine & yeh I’ve tried the correct one. Indeed, the AP version says AP and is in the first livery.

Re: AP 175 Enhancement Pack
This pack works fine for me. You do have the South Wales Coastal: Bristol to Swansea Route? I don't use quick drive. Try installing manually. Install it outside of TS say to your desktop then copy and paste the files to their appropriate foldersrich1241 wrote:Hi,

.....and make sure you copy over the .GeoPcDx files for the coaches.
Re: AP 175 Enhancement Pack
Hi folks,
Thanks for the help - sorry for the late reply back. I do have the South Wales coastal route add on installed. I've also just installed the AP 175 to my desktop and then copied the folders over into Railworks and still no joy?
Basically I can't move the train at all & outside there is no train.
Hopefully this video might help explain things better https://streamable.com/fmoaa
Any ideas?
Appreciate the help and suggestions so far.
Thanks,
Rich

Re: AP 175 Enhancement Pack
You need to copy (extract from the .ap archive) the .GeoPcDx files for the stock over too.
Re: AP 175 Enhancement Pack
Thanks - what's the location of the .GeoPcDx and which files specifically?gptech wrote:You need to copy (extract from the .ap archive) the .GeoPcDx files for the stock over too.
Re: AP 175 Enhancement Pack
Hi,
Apologies for re-posting but can anyone help me with what .GeoPcDx files need to be copied? If not, anyone know if it's possible to get a refund from AP? Would be a shame as their products are very high quality and everything else I've bought from them has worked perfectly.
Cheers and many thanks in advance,
Rich

Re: AP 175 Enhancement Pack
The reskins will be in a directory structure along the lines of ../Assets/DIG/SouthWalesCoastal/RailVehicles/Diesel..........and more folders. The last folder down the tree is for the textures, so the folder before is where the .GeoPcDx file should live.
Just look for the .GeoPcDx file in the default stock's folders and copy it...you wouldn't need to know the file name as I believe there's only the one such file in that particular location.
If you look in the .bin file for the reskins with RW Tools it will give you the exact path and file name.
