JT 221 AP sound pack problem

Post by RobertM »

Evening,

Just downloaded and installed AP's Voyager sound pack onto my JT advanced and it seems to of broken something.

Externally all my external head & tail lights are on, both ends, the destination blind look like its trying to display all destinations on top of each other

Internally, well all the control lights are on and the view out of the front window is just showing a mash up of textures.

The loco was fine before adding the sound pack, any ideas?

Robert

Have you tried to reinstall the sound pack? Maybe something went wrong in the process...

Just a thought... did you have any other mods applied to the original before installing the ap pack

Just send a support ticket to Richard on his site, he will do his best to sort it.

Is this In Game or just the Editor?

I notice when placing a Class 68 with AP Enhancement all the nameplates show at the same time but when you Save only the one associated with the loco appears

You could try this. Uninstall the Class 222 and the 220 then install them again to get rid of the AP sound pack. Install the AP sound pack somewhere outside of Railworks to somewhere like your desktop then manually copy and paste the sound pack files into there appropriate folders.

So me & Rich have bounced some emails back and forth and cant figure it out.

The only possibility we have is the version of the JT voyager I have.

I bought the original Voyager when it first came out, and then when the advanced version came out I bought the update instead of the stand alone voyager advanced (alot cheaper). This in turn means that when I install the JT Advanced Voyager via the JT installer, I have to select ‘upgrade for the download version of Voyager’.

Can anyone else who has the voyager the same way I do confirm if they can use AP's sound pack please?

I have the original, and then the update, for the Voyager and the AP pack works fine (sorry that doesn't seem the problem).

Just a thought, do you have the advanced version of the voyager? as the pack only works with this one, a few years ago I did an re-install and had the same issue as I had forgot to install the upgrade after the original pack.
