For anyone interested, Rick Foury (G-TraX) has just released a successor to the withdrawn Portland Terminal Route, now called Maine Maritime Switching Route. Basically the same route with a few tweaks and improvements, minus the DTG SD40 (using a GP40 instead for supplied scenarios), plus a new loco, an ALCo HH600 in Portland Terminal livery
I know some have been lamenting the withdrawal and unavailability of the Portland Terminal Route, which disappeared a couple of years ago, especially as some freeware routes require it for assets, so this may well keep a few here happy!

Re: A Successor to the Portland Terminal Route
I juust wanted to correct my post, which I can't edit, the developer is Rick Grout (G-TraX), not Rick Foury. Slip of the tongue.
Apparently no one is particularly interested
But just to say, scenarios from Portland Terminal translate over to Maine Maritime with minimal difficulty, including the BLXT 10-scenario pack in the UKTS library, https://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info ... leid=37377. Just needs the RequiredSet tag changing to the new route name

Thanks for the info. It's a while since I visited Portland but I am an admirer of Rick's work. Will download now!
