RW Enhancer and Malwarebytes
Hi, I've just installed the latest version of RW Enhancer, having had no issues with previous installs. However, Malwarebytes insists in quarantining the exe. file it when I try to open it. Have restored it half a dozen times but it quarantines it each time it opens. Any ideas as to what might have changed to cause this? I haven't seen any issues raised re malware before. Many thanks.
Re: RW Enhancer and Malwarebytes
What version is it please? 1.08 or 1.08b? They've released the latter today to fix some issues running the 1.08 for some users...
I myself haven't had a chance to try either of them yet.

Re: RW Enhancer and Malwarebytes
Sounds like a false positive - I'm using Kaspersky and that hasn't flagged the 1.08b or 1.08 .exe as malware. I assume there is a way to get Malwarebytes to ignore a file.mojo12012 wrote:Hi, I've just installed the latest version of RW Enhancer, having had no issues with previous installs. I had the same problem with 1.08a but 1.08b installs fine.

I use Malwarebytes. If you go to Settings, then select Exclusions/Add Exclusion, you can browse to the .exe and whitelist it.

Thanks for the advice. MBytes put up a fight but now excluded.
