Class 92 wheels

Post by TElsmore »

Morning all, and can I just start by saying I hope everybody has a fantastic 2019!

I a having a bit of an issue with class 92. Yesterday I decided to play a scenario which meant driving the 92, and I noticed that while the 92 moves and drives ok, the wheels don't turn. At all. Thinking that it may be something to do with the scenario, I tried a different scenario on a different route, with the same results.

To be fair this is this first time that I have driven the 92 since 64bit was introduced, so maybe that has something to do with it?

Would anybody who has the class 92 please be willing to test it to see if they have the same issue bother I bother firing of an email to DTG.

Thanks all.

Cheers
Terrone.

They don't appear to turn on mine either, 32bit or 64bit. I doubt it makes any difference but I have the AP Class 92 Sound Pack installed.

I just did a quick drive and having set up the cab I moved the Camera down to track level and there did seem to be movement of the wheels
Because they are all black it not as obvious but around 15mph there ware a repeating pattern on the disk part of the wheels

Peter

EDIT

Another run in better light and it difficult to tell that the wheels are not turning but looking at the wheel tread there is no change in the pattern
As it'm not normally so close to notice it I can live with it but if DTG Fix it all the better

The grey cells are telling me this issue predates 64-bit.

I'm sure that there was another post on this forum about this before summer 2018. many users were convinced that they did not turn but opinion was split.

Might be worth adding a white mark on a wheel to check...

They are definitely turning. Best way to see is to get as low as possible at the back of the loco as it travels forwards slowly, move to a very slight angle and you can see the movement on the back wheel
