Crocodile!

Post by JohnM1945 »

Simtrain.ch has put a very tasty stocking filler on sale.

It's the RhB Ge 6/6 Krokodil, priced at CHF 24.45 (1 CHF = GBP 0.80, so that's about £20...).

There's a rather appetising video at https://www.simtrain.ch/. Do NOT watch it if you value your solvency...

A happy Christmas, and a good New Year, to all!

The pack also includes 5 vehicles including a Pullman coach and might include the route between Davos Paltz and Filisur which the Scenarios are for
I cannot decide if the loco number is changeable or if it's 414 only - the information is rather poor.

Davos - Filisur is part of the Heidi-Express route which they sell as a separate item for €40 download, so not likely that it is included with the loco!

I agree that the description is not very clear, but at the very bottom of the page it does say: "für die Szenarios benötigen Sie den Heidi-Express" - "For the scenarios, you need the Heidi-Express".

That's standard gauge though. The SimTrain one is metre-gauge for RhB routes like Heidi Express and Albula.

I thought he was talking about the original one from Eisenbahnwerk from a few year's ago, is that the same one, it's all very confusing.

Yes but not much use on a Narrow Gauge Railway - in the same way this is not much use on a Standard Gauge Railway

They don't really look all that similar
Like comparing a LMS Toton Garret and a Welsh Highland Garret
