Looking for Matrix trains LMS P3 coaches

Post by MrHillingdon »

I have many different Matrix trains LMS coaches but I can't seem to find the P3 BSK, CK, SK and RSO.
I've searched the Market Place on Steam but don't seem to be having much luck.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

The LMS coaches you want (assuming you's re not after LMS 'porthole' coaches) are available on Steam as follows:

BSK and CK are in LMS P3 Coaches Pack 1
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2952 ... s_Pack_01/

SK and RSO are in LMS P3 Coaches Pack 2
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2952 ... s_Pack_02/

Thanks Chaps, however...

It appears that I have the required pack but I can't get the coaches to show in RW Tools even though the .ap file has been expanded.
Which means when checking stock in scenarios it tells me that I don't have it installed.

Hove you made the files Read/Write? RW Tools won't list them if they are Read Only because it has to convert the bin to an xml using Serz.exe.

I've not touched anything in that respect.

Thanks.

How did you extract the .ap files?

I’m not sure if I did but as it’s extracted I suspect I did it a while ago. I would have used 7zip and extracted it where it is.

Ensure that your extraction looks like this. There have been a number of instances posted on this Forum with incorrect paths for extracted files

Apologies if this is what you have

Don't forget to change the files you extracted to read/write…

And this is how you do it.

In Windows Explorer or 7Zip navigate to the folder containing the files you want to make read/write.
Right click on the folder and choose Properties.
Click on the Read only check box to uncheck the box.
Click on OK twice - if you are asked twice there will be sub-folders to make read/write.
Job done.

Sorted!
Success. Thanks very much for your help Guys, much appreciated.
The only difference I have is that those coaches are in the GordonMack folder as opposed to the MatrixTrains folder but easily swapped.

Thanks again.
