Have to agree, a reasonably priced fix to give the old girl a breath of fresh air.

Just tried it out in varying weahter and very impressed so far as I am sure the routes I tried never looked that good before. Subtle but very effective.

Here is a good comparison shot. Top is normal TS and below is the RW enhancer at max settings.

So I may have just thrown 10 euros away... Installed the RWE shaders using the default settings, it looks better, no problem with that, but the TS is no longer as fluid as it used to be, you can see some minor stuttering especially on the edges of objects and on the horizon. Reverted back. To me this spoils the experience despite the better visuals. Asked for a refund, not sure they will be willing to provide it though... :(

I'm running with a 30 FPS cap, vsync on and SSAA, this gives me a very fluid motion in TS so perhaps I am more sensitive than others in this regard and I believe many others may just be very happy with the product. TS definitely looks better with it, that's for sure...

Perhaps your chosen settings are conflicting with how the enhancer works?...try it without the 30fps limit, which actually is pretty pointless with V-Sync on anyway under the last few incarnations of the game which haven't been as susceptible to noticeably alarming fps drops.
Are there any *guide/example settings* detailed in the enhancer's documentation?

Hi Gary, thanks for the advice. Unfortunately it is not pointless as without the FPS cap the FPS are still all over the place sometimes (probably jumping between 60 and 30 although TS is showing values in between the two, which shouldn't be possible unless triple buffering is on as well (which shouldn't be the case)). Therefore having the limit is still providing smoother experience.

...but only if you can notice the change between frame rate values during actual gameplay, not going by the displayed counter but the overall visual experience. Which V-Sync option are you using?

Vsync is plainly set to on in the NV Control Panel (no fast sync nor adaptive). And yes, without the fps limit the game is stuttering I can clearly see that.

I take it you've tried fast V-Sync?

It stutters more with it (with the limit off). And it is meant for high fps anyway, higher than your refresh rate for sure which I do not get very often in TS...
