You're in luck, you'll find more than 50 different Matrix pre-nationalisation coach packs on Steam Marketplace...1crick14a wrote: love this Pre Mk1 stuff hope we get more of it

It would be nice if the model builders ( Professional ) would also include in their packs
more weathered/grubby vehicles.
Here's hoping anyway

Re: MatrixTrains And Steam Sounds Supreme Collaboration
Not an easy thing to do for me without making the selection menu somewhat bloated for scenario writers. In the past I've made sets cleanish and I've made them dirty. Get moans either way. At the moment I just use the bake operation to give a mildly grubby version. Using a random approach for selecting textures would not work, as most carriages ran in fixed sets so would have equal amounts of grime. I think the easiest thing to do is just provide alternative textures, either by some way of selecting in the editor (I'll have to research that) or manually swapping the files. I'll have a look into it next year.1crick14a wrote:It would be nice if the model builders ( Professional ) would also include in their packs

Re: MatrixTrains And Steam Sounds Supreme Collaboration
You'll never please everyone without multiple skins, but I think a clean in-service look would satisfy most; i.e. some staining on roofs, light dirt on undergear, but clean bodies.
Personally I think clean white roofs on steam hauled stock is the first thing that needs weathering. I can't imagine this lasted for more than a few hours in real life.

This sounds good Gordon and appreciate the reply, being an old BR stoker i saw the
grubby ones plenty of times.
