AP class 31 enhancement pack coming soon

I had this same problem but contacted Richard Armstrong direct via the AP site.
I deleted my Class31Pack02 folder, then re-installed it from Steam. I then downloaded a fresh Class 31 enhancement pack and extra stock etc. I then re-installed the new packs and everything now works.

I thought that initially but pressing K lights them up. I guess you will need to go to back cab and press K to put them on at the back.

Ah ok, thanks Rod. I have tried keyboard and additional controls but still nothing. Is there any possible patch coming?

Does anyone have any issues using the 31 in a scenario? Swapped a 33 out for the DCR 31 but when I play the scenario the 31 is dead? Selecting engine only and pressing the Z key does nothing? I have sent Rich a message on his site.

I'm a bit confused, I have the Class 31 pack - the 02 version, or atleast I can tick it in the scenario editor but can't place anything. Does that mean I actually own it or not?

This is a little late in replying to this issue, but I have only just purchased the pack and had the same issue.
When I looked in the class 31 pack 02 all the "AP" locos appeared, but looking inside the folders, I found only the "Engine" folder showed, with it's own GEO file, but no textures folder or anything else.
I wondered if it may have been because I never downloaded the Extra Stock pack or the Realistic Branding Pack?
Why didn't I? Well I gathered that was only necessary if you wished to play the included scenarios.
So I downloaded both of these:

Back to the scenario I was trying to create and now all the "AP" versions had appeared. The folders should look like this:

I am now more impressed with this enhancement of the class 31 than I imagined.
My scenario was a quick run between Exeter St Davids to Exmouth and back, so I had to add a second AP class 31 after the 3 coaches.
Now as an experiment with the "clag" feature I imagined that what ever setting I put it to, would also be reflected on the other loco.
But to my unexpected delight that was not the case. I had one 'grubby' loco running with maximum clag and the other 'clean' version with minimal exhaust/clag.
When changing ends one does also need to remember to put the original loco into neutral and change the light settings or the other loco will not let you put it into gear, something like the AP class 40, only much, much simpler.
IMO it's a great purchase and I am now pleased to have bought it.

Rear loco has the clag turned up to a high setting, while the front loco in the distant has clag down low.

Hmm, not a very good representation, but it may help you see what I was referring to?

Anyone finding that they can't control the train brake with the mouse in the cab view. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the appropriate RSC Class 31 and reinstalling the AP enhancement and extra stock packs but this has made no difference. I submitted a support request to AP some days ago and have also posted on their Facebook site but have yet to receive any response so I don't know if this glitch is just on my system or whether it also applies to others.

Just bought this pack, and am having some probs with two of the scenarios it comes with..

1V96 1657 Brighton to Cardiff : I dont own the "AP Mk2 D-F Coach Pack", but I have tried swapping the requested Wessex Trains Liveried coaches with another livery from a different pack, and the scenario gives an Access Violation on load up. If I "revert to default" for this scenario, then it WILL load up, but obviously I cant run it as it says the "Wessex Trains Mk2" coaches are missing. I havent come across a pack which wont load if you swap any assets before. Can anyone help ?

2C96 2250 Cardiff to Bristol : This scenario doesnt load at all and gives an error message.

The odd thing is that the last two scenarios that the pack comes with, (the Network Rail Test Train from Landore), will load up and run absolutely fine !

Any help as always is appreciated guys !

Hi Derek

Just re-download and re-install the AP Mk2 D-F Coach Pack, together with any other AP packs that the Class 31 pack needs. The scenarios will then work fine.

The reason why the scenarios don't work is simply that you don't have the most up=to-date versions of other AP packs.

He doesn't own the AP coaches though Ash, so re-downloading isn't an option.
Derek, delete the coaches using RW Tools, then drop in to the in game scenario editor and stick the coaches you have behind the loco----make a backup first though of course!

But surely if I want to SWAP the coaches (Wessex) that I dont own, with a totally DIFFERENT coach, then that should work as normal ? I cant see why the scenario will not even load if I swap the Wessex Mk 2's with any other coach from another developer ?
