Nice route and well made, but I'm supposing our German counterparts will find fault!

You need to have previous route for the stock, to run the Scenarios, but otherwise it's not required.
Not sure why Smarty had to unpack the *.ap file - should it not work without doing that?

After my experience with the Cologne Airport route extension I'm waiting for some reviews before making a purchase.

Re: Franfurt High Speed: route add on, out now.
What price is showing for this add-on?
Looking on Steam without logging in the price is shown as £14.99
In my Steam Client the price also shows £14.99
On the DTG Forum it says "For existing Mannheim – Karlsruhe players, the Frankfurt High Speed price already reflects the content that you already own"
I own Mannheim – Karlsruhe but I don't see any discount.

It should. No route that I've got that uses .ap files has needed unpacking for it to work correctly.749006 wrote:...Not sure why Smarty had to unpack the *.ap file - should it not work without doing that?

Yep, thinking about it, I'm not sure why the .ap files need to be unpacked to play the route ( it does have to be to see the assets in RwTools, which is what I usually forget to do).

If you open a Steam webpage it shows £14.99 without logging in - so it does not know if you own M-KSpringer6 wrote: It's showing £14.99 for me and I also have the previous route, perhaps that's the price with the discount ?
I think they decided to release the line without any stock so it's that same price for everyone.

Yes you are correct that it is the same price for everyone, as when following the link Steam doesn't know who you are. However there does seem to be stock included:749006 wrote:If you open a Steam webpage it shows £14.99 without logging in - so it does not know if you own M-KSpringer6 wrote: It's showing £14.99 for me and I also have the previous route, perhaps that's the price with the discount ?

Key Features
Features the 77 km route from Frankfurt am Main Hbf to Mannheim Hbf, which combined with the existing Mannheim Hbf to Karlsruhe Hbf, reaches an overall 137 km
The route to Frankfurt am Main Flüghafen is included
DB BR 406 ICE 3M in DB ICE livery
DB BR 425 in DB Regio Red livery
DB BR 189 in DB Traffic Red livery
DB BR 294 in DB Traffic Red livery
7 Career scenarios
2 Railfan Mode scenarios
Quick Drive compatible

Perhaps the "discount" is applied to everyone, because it cannot be used as a stand alone and thus is only useful when sold to owners of the previous route ?
"You must own The Rhine Railway: Mannheim - Karlsruhe Route Add-On, which is a separate purchase, in order to play the content featured in this Route Extension."

Since when do you have to unpack ap files to have assets show up in a route??smarty2 wrote:Cool!

Well, all that rolling stock is what you get with the original route, in fact they've forgotten to add to this new list the Class 435, so in essence, as you need to have the original route anyway for this add on extension, you won't get these locos again, surely!!!
