So, the *fixed* 67 won't work with the AP acquired DVT, only with the DVT as part of the GEML pack through Steam. Also, this pack only applies to:
a) the Class 67 from RSC via Steam (residing in the Assets folder Class67Pack01)
- and NOT the Just Trains Class 67
b) the Class 90/Mk3 DVT Pack from DTG/Steam (residing in the Assets folder Class90Pack01)
- and NOT the Class 90/Mk3 DVT pack sold directly by AP......
................
Compatability with the AP_Waggonz (direct from AP) DVT is not possible using this method, and it appears
that rescripting of either the Sound Pack or the DVT would be needed to achieve that.
So again please note that this "roll-back" Class 67 for use with thew Mks DVT does NOT have AP Sounds, but it
ensures compatibility with the Mk3 DVT
That information isn't hidden away, it's right at the start of the ReadMe---should have been the first place to check if you were having issues.
(I can't moan at Peter, 'cos he was right about the GEML pack being the only one from Steam so you're getting both barrels Martin
The DVT in the pack shows in the game as
MK3 DVT ATW ADV
and
MK3 DVT ATW HUD
Mungo's original reskin shows as
MK3 DVT Arriva Trains Wales
and
MK3 DVT Arriva Trains Wales UNI
so there's no duplication of names to get in the way and hide one of 'em.
Install it, if the numbers all wrong again do nothing about it---that's an easy fix--just make sure it works properly with the 67.
Once you know that's sorted then you can drill through the files to see why the game can find the placeholders, but not display the correct running number---off the top of my head though I'd say the .dcsv file the reworked DVT is looking for doesn't exist, or at least not where it's looking for it; that's why you gat the hex string instead of the right number when viewing it's properties in the editor.
