Hi, the second path is where the Mungo one gets put - not sure about the first one.

Re: ATW reskin of the AP Waggonz Mk3 DVT
I notice in the on screen readme for this file
http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info. ... leid=35574
Which might be the one Martin is having the problems with
Peter
http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info. ... leid=35574
That is putting an ATW DVT in to the GEML packand the Mk3 DVT in the AP_WaggonzClass90Pack01 folder, purchased from DTG/Steam (not the version purchased direct from AP)

Yes Peter, but as he's stated that it's the original work by Mungo that has the issue we've all possibly been looking at the wrong asset. As you also get 43210 when using that pack but the Mungo original displays correct numbers it suggests that you've got an incomplete installation of that rework too--remember you've already checked and stated that the original doesn't show the right numbers but later that it does....749006 wrote:That is putting an ATW DVT in to the GEML pack

I also have \Assets\AP_Waggonz\MK3DVT\RailVehicles\Class82DVT\ATW and placing one of those reskins on the track produces a correctly numbered DVT in ATW Livery.

I have those other reskins too but I can't get them in game to show, I've checked the contents of the respective folders and they have the geo files in them? Should I be ticking the 90 pack 01 90 or just the MK3 DVT only? Confused!

The Mk3 DVT for the version available from the AP website is all you need to tick, if it's the Steam version then it's laid out as part of Class90Pack01 I believe.smarty2 wrote:I have those other reskins too but I can't get them in game to show, I've checked the contents of the respective folders and they have the geo files in them? Re: ATW reskin of the AP Waggonz Mk3 DVT
Martin,
the Acronym KISS holds in all cases....
Make it easier on yourself and temporarily remove the other versions and just have a single one in the game to deal with. As it stands you haven't a clue which one you're actually seeing in the game; if the two versions share the same descriptive name it'll only show once in the available stock listing and which one the game chooses to make available is unknown.
As we've set off looking at Mungo's original I'd suggest working on that one, and that one only. Once that's up and running we can deal with the version for the GEML class 90/DVT pack--if you still want that one installed of course.

Re: ATW reskin of the AP Waggonz Mk3 DVT
There'll be none of that kissing nonsense going on here! Actually just to confuse you more I have those reskins showing in game now and one has a missing texture on the side and the other one is ok but the AWS and DVD can't be shut off using the key commands? So they are unusable anyway Gary.
So I will stick with Mungo's version cause I don't want a thick ear off of you!

I've a thick head after trying to unravel what we're actually working on....
I'd say the end result has achieved the aims though, Mungo's reskin from DPS shows numbers correctly so all's well.

At some point I installed the reskin for the coach and DVT pack off UKTS [35574] and it's that one which is a mod of Mungos work that has the problems.
But as the version by Mungo off DPS, which sits in the DVT pack, works perfectly I will just delete the one in the GEML sub folder.

No Peter, what you said was:749006 wrote:So do I - which is what I said.
This was the post immediately after Martin's, in which he stated that it was the Mungo reskin from DPS, so your post can only be read as meaning that you too have that particular reskin, and also find that it doesn't display the correct number.749006 wrote:I had a look at the reskin on my computer and it also has the 43210 number on both the ADV & HUD Versions.
Minor point, but your quote of my post shows that I wrote "I also have \Assets\AP_Waggonz\MK3DVT\RailVehicles\Class82DVT\ATW and placing one of those reskins on the track produces a correctly numbered DVT in ATW Livery." which is inaccurate---read my post again and you'll see that you wrote that, I only quoted you.....

It might be the one from this pack but I'm not sure

I must have cloth eyes as well as ears Gary, but how have "we" fixed the number issue?I'd say the end result has achieved the aims though, Mungo's reskin from DPS shows numbers correctly so all's well.

I took
to mean all was well...you still see 43210 instead of a *proper* number?smarty2 wrote:I have those reskins showing in game now

The Mungo reskin.... No. The other reskins have issues too as described above.

Re: ATW reskin of the AP Waggonz Mk3 DVT
So, as you now see the right numbers on the original reskin the issue is resolved/fixed---presumably because you're looking at the right reskin in game now; your initial statement that this particular reskin was at fault being a case of mistaken identity and the faulty one has always been the rework for the GEML pack..

One of the problems you get because you split a reply to extract the bit's you think are important.gptech wrote:Minor point, but your quote of my post shows that I wrote "I also have \Assets\AP_Waggonz\MK3DVT\RailVehicles\Class82DVT\ATW and placing one of those reskins on the track produces a correctly numbered DVT in ATW Livery." which is inaccurate---read my post again and you'll see that you wrote that, I only quoted you...
Because both reskins install a ATW Folder in to different Mk3DVT Folders it was difficult to identify which one was which.
At the end of the day the Mungo repaint off DPS works perfectly
The modified version, file 35574, does not.
