I’ve installed the Great Eastern 1 And 2 CDs and can’t find the era Change exe on the Start menu or in the F:\86 Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\Makeing Tracks Folder

Re: Great Eastern Network SouthEast era
Have you really installed MSTS in F:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator? If so, that is probably the cause of most of the problems you seem to be having.
You really need to follow http://msts.steam4me.net/tutorials/inst ... ts_w7.html
When GE 1 and 2 are installed correctly, the era changer can be found in .....\Train Simulator\Great_Eastern\MakingTracks Support Files\GreaterEastern\GreaterEastern_Change_Era.exe

Hi Nigel,
It's only Drive C: Program Files & Program Files(x86) folders which are protected; on any other drive, it's OK to use folders with the same name/s
Cheers,
Ged

Re: Great Eastern Network SouthEast era
Hi,
I don't know if it was included in later versions of the Greater Eastern CDs, but my version doesn't include the ERAs change add-on. It was available separately from the Making Tracks site which is, unfortunately, now non-existent. I am attempting to obtain permission to upload the various updates, patches and add-on livery packs from the old MT site, to UKTS, so, please keep an eye on the Forum
Cheers,
Ged

@deltic100
You must have a short memory. Remember "MSTS on Working in Windows 10"?
Re: Great Eastern Network SouthEast era
I reinstalled MSTS to F:/Program Files/Microsoft/Games/Train Simulator And On era change exe I have read the manual and it says that you need to era download from Making Tracks

Hi Deltic100,
Yes, that's correct, mate
I have received a form of permission from Dave Babb to upload the previously available updates and patches to UKTS but as it's not a straight out statement, I'm awaiting a response from Peter Peddlesden for his view on whether we can, legally, go ahead, or not.
Cheers,
Ged

Hi Ged, I downloaded and stored all the available updates and patches from the MT site when I realised there was a problem and await to see if Peter allows your downloads to become generally available on this site.

Hi Bob,
Thanks, mate
I'll send you a PM listing those I've archived - a few are already available on UKTS from way back!

Ged

Will you be able to upload the Making Tracks "Free Stock Friday" content as well?

Re: Great Eastern Network SouthEast era
Hi Nigel,
I haven't sought permission to upload the "Free Stock Friday" stock because, I believe, most, if not all, are already available from the UKTS library.
If there's any you're particularly looking for, please post its name and I'm sure one of us will let you know if it's in the library.
Cheers,
Ged
