The version number on the Just Train's website hasn't been updated with the Steam release. Does anyone know if the Steam release is a straight port of the JT version, or if it's been modified or improved in any way?

I see the JT version is being shown in the newsletter/mailshot as being on 'weekend sale' at £12.99 - cheaper than the Steam version if they are the same?

I bought the western mainlines when it was released and never play it as it reminds of Wiley coyote chasing the road runner....
Let me know if things have improved.
I've just re-installed the JT version and I have to say that the vegetation is much better than usual in JT's routes. Things aren't perfect, especially the bright gorse bushes, but the route builders have individually placed trees to give different densities of woods and line side growth and in some places the mixed woods cascading down the hills at the Kyle end are beautiful. I also like the occasional 'green tunnel' created by dense line side vegetation growing on top of rock cuttings.

From the listing of scenarios it seems they've removed/changed the ones that call for rolling stock other than the bundled stuff (i.e. Class 66, Sprinter).

The service pack for this route was released today. JT customers were emailed a notification and need to re-download it and the Steam version has also been updated.

Change list:
v1.08

- Fixed signalling to allow AI trains to work properly.

- Added extra signalling signage.

- Added AWS ramps where required.

- Swapped a large amount of 3D trees to 2D to improve performance (major improvements in FPS).

- Swapped some default buildings for Just Trains Common Library buildings where improvements have been made.

Hi Guys

How would I know when I have checked the "my orders" section on my account on JT website, that the version I am about to redownload, is the LATEST version ? Because the date shown against it on my orders list is 28/5/2015.

Thanks

Does anyone know whether they have changed the scenarios, particularly their stock requirements. I had all the stock for the old version now I find I need the JT Standard 5MT ( their own version ) and also the Kuju preserved Black 5 plus some Kuju Mk1s (all look as though they are by Steam Sounds Supreme ?)

The scenarios with their missing stock are :"Kyle of Lochalsh Free Roam".
Missing items:-( Manual does not specify any extra requirements over default and supplied with route for this scenario)

The scenario "Kyle Photo Charter" :

missing items ( Manual states stock requirements as "Default and supplied with route")

Has anyone else noticed this , or have I got a bad download ? I can't find any unziped .ap files anywhere. I have got the Euro Asset Pack !
