Unless I am mistaken this would pretty much be a perfect match on the S&D route, hauled by a 2P or Black 5?

Re: Matrix SR Maunsell 'low-window' coaches released
They look good, especially in BR Green!
I hope that some scenarios will be published on the workshop using these coaches, that would make it much more appealing for me to buy them.
Cheers,

Hi
Other locomotives you can use LMS 2P 4F,SR Bulleid Light Pacific,N/U Class,BR STD 4 STD 5 BR 9F,They were all used on passenger trains between Bath and Bournemouth West
I forgot the S&D 7F that comes with the default S&D route

Maunsell 3-sets (BSK-CK-BSK) were seen on the West on the England route, Waterloo – Bournemouth – Weymouth and in their later years also on the S&D.
The other coaches (FK, SK and SO) were mainly 'loose', the RFK's normally ran together with an SO.

I've just bought these and allowed them to download from Steam but I can't find them anywhere. I assumed they would be under "GordonMack" but they're not there.
Any hints?

How are these compared to the ones that used to be available a few years ago, I think they were from DT?

The Digital Traction pack was released in 2011/12 and gives you 4 Maunsell ‘high-window’ coaches as built from 1929: BCK (D2401), BSK 6-comp (D2102), CK (D2301) and SK (D2001). The pack is showing it’s age and has no passenger view, but still is IMHO a must-have if you run SR routes.USRailFan wrote:How are these compared to the ones that used to be available a few years ago, I think they were from DT?
The Matrix pack gives you 8 Maunsell coaches. Five of these represent the early ‘low-window’ variants, built from 1926: BCK (D2401), BSK 4-comp (D2101), CK (D2301), FK (D2501) and SK (D2001). The other 3 are: SO (D2007), RFK (D2651) and RB (D2666, rebuilt 1953-1954 from D2651).
You cannot go wrong with Gordon Mackenzie’s coaches, this pack is state of the art (with passenger views) and gives you the earlier (less numerous) Maunsell variants of the coaches offered by DT plus an FK, SO and restaurant/buffet cars. Different roof profiles make mixing the DT and Matrix coaches a bit difficult (see screenshot).
