World Editor "Greyed Out" ?
Hi
I am only getting the hang of bits of World Editor at present, but I came to remove the times from an old scenario for the Bristol to Exeter route last night. Its called "BRI to WSM" and came from the workshop many moons ago. The timings weren't realistic, so I decided to have a go at removing them. However, when pausing the scenario the "World Editor" option is greyed out, so I cant amend anything.
Can anyone explain why this would be ? The World Editor works ok on some other routes or scenarios !
Thanks
Derek

Bottom right of the editor screen - is the little padlock symbol showing locked or unlocked? Left mouse click to unlock.

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
So is this padlock on the "options" screen, where, you can click on "world editor" to enter it ? As explained, I cant even ACCESS the "World Editor" as that option is greyed out.
Thanks

You may need to use rwtools to convert it from a timetabled scenario to a standard scenario.

You cant click the editor button on Workshop scenarios,
Just press Ctrl E while playing the scenario and that will get you in to the editor
No Need to convert anything

Hi Dave
Thanks for that.
I will try it when I get home. Wish these "secret methods" of doing things weren't so secret !

Sorry - didn't notice the Workshop Scenario bit! Yes, Ctrl-E should do it - but certainly you can convert Workshop to Standard using RWTools then get normal access.

Have a look in your Railworks/dev/docs folder. Plenty of information in thereshinymac wrote:Hi Dave

Clone first, then change the type in the clone. That way, when the Workshop version gets refreshed, your version will not revertaugust1929 wrote:Sorry - didn't notice the Workshop Scenario bit!
