I'd like to get the Steam Sounds in Motion album from SSS, but it is not clear to me from the description what is the delivery format: they speak of a password to get to your recordings, hope it is not stored in a cloud and available only via web interface? Do they give you the usual MP3 (or even better FLAC) download?
Thanks!

Been here long enough to know better...
Re: SSS Steam Sounds in Motion
Thank you very much for the great advice, sir, I can't even express how indebted to you I am; at your service to the end of my days!rwaceyw wrote:http://www.steamsoundssupreme.com/contactus.html
However, if I can humbly, literally down on my knees, ask you to please take into account that...
(1) it's Friday evening and I wanted to take advantage of the SSS FB sale ending Sunday. I doubt I can expect an answer till the end of the sale.
(2) I thought this tiny little question could do no harm and those who might possibly have the album could just reply with a simple "Yes, it's MP3" or similar simple answer. If they don't own it I'm perfectly fine they leave my question unanswered...

If you can access the recordings you should be able to opt to download them; maybe not as direct download but the right mouse button is a useful tool.
I know that's nowhere near answering the question, but in theory downloading the files for off-line listening shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks, Gary, it actually depends on the player, it can even be encrypted on the way... but of course in any case you can always record it on your PC, but not without losing a small portion of the quality. I think, given the discount, I'll just get the album and see...gptech wrote:If you can access the recordings you should be able to opt to download them; maybe not as direct download but the right mouse button is a useful tool.

It's really great by the way... looking forward to listening to this in my car... damn, I need a steam car! Then there's no need for such albums!
